On 3rd January, 2023, a Resume Writing Workshop was organized for the School of Media and Communication. Final year students participated in this activity. Ms. Sumaira from the Office of Corporate Linkages and Placements oriented the students about the Dos and Don’ts of resume building and interviews. She also advised students about the recommended CV formats.
CV Writing, Interviewing, and the 30 Seconds Elevator Pitch workshop are regularly organized by OCLP, where HR experts from leading organizations are invited on campus or virtually to guide students about the Dos and Don’ts of CV building and interviews. These experts also advise students about the recommended CV formats. Domain-specific CV/Resume workshops are periodically organized by OCLP to facilitate students from all disciplines at UMT, making it a regular feature. Students from all schools participated and got their CVs reviewed.
